Water Distribution Centers for Residential Consumers without Water Service

OPUC recognizes that residential consumers across the state are experiencing extremely challenging times and our office is strongly committed to helping our state’s millions of residential consumers get through this crisis. We are working tirelessly to assist Texans by providing important information and access to helpful resources. Residential consumers without water service should contact their water utility. Residential consumers who have water service and have received a boil water notice should continue to boil their water until they are informed it is safe to drink by their water utility.

There are half a million Texans under a boil water advisory as of the end of February. Please contact your provider directly if you are uncertain if this applies to your utility.

Below you will find locations of water distribution centers across the state where residents can obtain drinking water. The list was updated daily through February 22, 2021. Some locations may no longer be applicable. Please call 3-1-1 for additional information.
